2016 was a great year for new friendships!

Utah Lehi Stake's ward boundaries were redrawn and a new ward was created within the old 5th Ward area, resulting in many new friendships. Photos provided by Angeline Collette 5th Ward camp out Trunk or Treat And the Christmas Party Following are a few auxiliaries' summation for the year: High Priests Compiled by Aaron Armstrong For 2016, the High Priest Quorum had several events and successes worthy of mention.  Multiple Personal Priesthood Interview’s were conducted through the year. Several of the quorum brethren were gracious enough to allow us to get to know them as well as other components of their lives. We appreciate them sharing through mutual friendship and fellowship. Social Around mid-year we had a High Priest Social where all of the High Priests' and their families were invited for a nice dinner as well as some dancing in an evening full of cordiality and acquaintance. 2014: Following in His Footsteps

Our auxiliaries  were involved as a community to remember our Savior and how our lives ' may reflect our love for Him Relief Society  Ashley Shaw's journey with her husband in the Marines and the special ball they get to go to together. Our big activity for the quarter was the Relief Society Birthday in March. Our theme was "We never walk alone" then we had each of the round tables beautifully decorated with a different shoe motif that showed an individual's journey in life through their shoes.  We then had each member of the RS presidency share a story about a favorite pair of shoes that they brought with them. One sister had the flip flops that she wore when she married her husband and shared the story of how they met. Another sister had a set of running shoes she wore when she ran the RAGNAR with her siblings. Another had a pair of ballet shoes and is a ballet teacher. 2013: Lehi 5th Ward family builds community

The theme for the floats was "You Saw What?" and the 5th Ward response was "Nascar." Lehi 5th Ward  The Utah Lehi Stake 5th Ward is typical of many ward families for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Utah County. Several of its auxiliaries participate in monthly activities, each year there are traditional events like the Christmas Party, Trunk-or-Treat, the city celebration, service projects, spaghetti dinners (and auction), a few picnics, barbecues and more. What is different are its members, each individual unique and valued as part of a larger family. Within structure of the 5th Ward is found a vibrant community of brothers and sisters supporting and strengthening each other...
